With reference to Colonial Office letter

19340.

of the 16th September, 1939, 53529/39, on the subject

of the site of the proposed new Naval Hospital at

Hong Kong, I am commanded by My Lords Commissioners

of the Admiralty to ask that the Secretary of State

for the Colonies will be good enough to obtain the

consent of the Governor of Hong Kong to an extension

of the option on the site for a further year from

September, 1940.
